Domestic Water Conservation Program Overview

Aqualine has found it very important to take a comprehensive look at each client’s facility to make sure all avenues of water conservation have been closely scrutinized. That is why Aqualine has developed a unique program to assist clients in understanding their current situation as well as identifying opportunities to improve upon them.

• The program starts with a physical audit of your facility. Results of the audit combined with site demographics and a history of water and sewer bills are analyzed. A comprehensive report is generated showing where water is consumed and what projected savings can be achieved once the program is implemented.
  
  
• Our water saving program can save from 15% to 40% of a facility's bills while maintaining user comfort. This can equate to over a million dollars in savings over a ten year period. It consists of the following:
  
  
  • 1.6 gallon per flush toilet replacements are offered and can reduce usage by as much as 3.00 gallons per flush. All major brand toilets are offered and installed according to all standard plumbing codes and practices. Maintenance upgrades to the infrastructure can be accomplished at this time which could include repairing angle stops, riser valves, etc.
    
    
  • The toilet re-build option can save up to 1.50 gallons per flush. It maintains head pressure and therefore allows an efficient flush. Savings per flush can be as high as 40%. A full maintenance of the water closets (flushometers and tank toilets) are completed at this time.
    
    
  • Faucet sink ultra low-flow aerators are tamper proof; only facility personnel can remove them. They can reduce water usage by more than 75%.
    
    
  • Showerheads are made of ABS Plastic and have an excellent feel to the flow. At 2.5 gallons per minute, they can be adjusted from a stream to an open flood.
    
    
• Once installation is complete, water meters are monitored for six months to ensure savings are intact. An analysis is provided periodically for management review. This usage analysis service is available after the six month period on a fee basis.
  
  
• Typical program payback is from one to three years. It will increase the value of a property by increasing cash flow and profit margins.
