Lighting Design & Efficiency
Aqualine’s lighting efficiency business is uniquely designed to serve commercial and industrial lighting applications - especially those that require the ability to work within highly occupied spaces (universities, hospitals, etc) and the challenging 24X7 manufacturing markets.
Aqualine works with clients to maximize energy performance, maintain or increase light levels and ensure that facilities operate without disruption while installation is underway. We pride ourselves on working within our customer’s operational and safety parameters.
When customers have a complex job and are concerned about upgrading a lighting system in a heavily occupied, 24X7 work environment, they turn to Aqualine’s expert team of specialists.
Beginning with an in-depth site evaluation, Aqualine presents a plan to assure that the best technology for each site application is approved and installed. Our total life cycle cost perspective focuses on site-specific use of standardized products, automated system controls, and savings. Additionally, potential incentives and rebates are analyzed and applied for with the local utility. Our staff performs all paperwork, assuring that your rebate is maximized and done correctly. The outcome of our process is a faster payback, better energy performance, longer equipment life, lower maintenance, and improved light quality. This is all accomplished with minimum disruption to your operations.

Water & Wastewater Design & Efficiency
UNMATCHED EXPERTISE
Aqualine has been a leading provider of water efficiency programs since the inception of the 1992 FEMP water conservation act. The company delivers turnkey programs for universities, healthcare facilities, commercial office, and multi-unit housing properties that fully meet or exceed ANSI standards. With hundreds of successful installations, Aqualine provides best-in-class retrofits tailored to the functionality of each individual facility. Our unmatched expertise in water and wastewater systems maximizes savings while improving the quality of water use.
TURNKEY SYSTEMS TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS
Each water efficiency program is tailored to your needs and completed in a turnkey manner. Starting with a site survey to assess the needs and opportunities, we partner with our clients to agree on the most suitable approach. Aqualine then completes the design of the solution, specifies and purchases materials, hires subcontract labor, and performs daily on-site project management for complete assurance of a quality installation.
WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM APPLICATIONS
In addition to high-efficiency domestic water retrofits, Aqualine also designs, engineers and installs water treatment system applications. Our team has the expertise and understanding to address and satisfy all facets of your individual challenge. We highlight possibilities for improvement while analyzing your individual challenges and then translate your vision into reality. Projects incorporate preferred technologies and equipment that meet code-compliant design specifications. While reducing energy costs associated with treating wastewater, Aqualine improves antiquated infrastructure through system control upgrades and increased treatment capacity.

Steam Design & Efficiency
OVERVIEW
Aqualine’s extensive experience with steam distribution systems allows us to identify unique opportunities, accurately calculate savings in fuel and energy, and install the equipment upgrades in a seamless manner so as to not disrupt facility operations. All savings are easily measured.
Aqualine’s steam efficiency programs not only save significant amounts of fuel and energy but also reduce your carbon footprint, making your business more sustainable. The typical savings within facilities are between 20% and 30% of total steam system use. Upgrading a failing steam system infrastructure can eliminate leakage and rapidly pay for itself through savings. The result: you receive new equipment that is highly efficient and your utility bill is lowered through proven techniques. For those that qualify, Aqualine offers a unique program that allows a facility to pay for these programs from existing cash flow, rather than via capital budgets.
Our expert teams specialize in delivering the highest savings and greatest efficiencies within any facility that heats with steam or uses steam in its processes.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Our design-build efficiency programs include cost reductions to the central plant, steam distribution, and condensate return systems. The final result is the development of a project that integrates steam system efficiency, sustainability, and long-term energy savings.
Projects start with a detailed survey of the system. Beginning with the central plant, we trace all distribution lines. In the process they identify steam traps and incorrectly designed aspects of the system that with easy redesigns can produce significant savings to your bottom line. When the survey is completed, all opportunities are identified within the central plant; steam traps are tagged and catalogued throughout the distribution system; and a detailed cost and savings proposal is presented.
After input and agreement from our client on how best to proceed, Aqualine installs the newly designed solutions in a turnkey manner. Aqualine personnel perform all work in the plant, from distribution to installation of the end use equipment. We ensure that a complete quality project is installed within fixed budgets with typical payback on the cost of installation in 1 to 2 years.
