Aqualine Resources, Inc. was incorporated in 1990 to assist customers
in enhancing their profits through improved water and energy conservation
programs and services. Aqualine provides its national customer base with
turnkey programs to save cost associated with water, wastewater, steam
and electricity in a professional and cost effective manner.
Aqualines team of professionals assists clients in evaluating and
understanding all water and energy saving opportunities and then implementing
a cost-saving program. Results have been extremely positive, exceeding
customer expectations in universities, hotels, health care, commercial
buildings, multi-family housing and government facilities.
Typical savings to client companies range from 20 to 40% of their water
and utility resource budget. This can equate to millions of dollars of
savings over a ten year period. Payback on the cost of program implementation
is between one and three years.
Aqualines turnkey system approach starts with a comprehensive engineering
survey of the prospective facility. A detailed analysis showing all appropriate
conservation alternatives are summarized and presented. Once the program
is approved, Aqualine implements the program using Aqualine trained employees.
After installation, detailed savings analyses are generated showing actual
savings that occurred.
Commercial
Services
Aqualine offers services to the commercial market, specializing in working
with universities, healthcare, hospitality, government, and large residential
facilities. Services are as follows:
- Domestic Water Conservation:
This program focuses on water use in toilets, sinks and showers. Aqualine
analyzes alternatives such as replacement with more water efficient
units or retrofits. We consult with the client as to which alternative
makes the most sense from a financial prospective and a site user prospective.
- Process Water: Aqualine
implements programs in commercial facilities that focus on re-use and
conservation for once through cooling/condensate systems, reduced chemical
treatment for cooling towers/boilers, irrigation system controls and
efficiency measures and sewer charge abatement for cooling towers/irrigation.
- Laundry Systems: Aqualine
offers a new ozone-based technology that is retrofit to a current commercial
laundry system. Customer savings result from reduced water consumption,
sewer discharge, water heating costs, chemical/detergent use, and labor/overhead
costs. Another important customer benefit is a 25% life extension on
linens.
- Steam Delivery Systems:
This consists of re-engineering steam systems to replace inefficient
and leaking steam traps. Savings are affected by reducing steam (fuel
consumption) and ongoing system maintenance costs.
- Lighting Retrofit Services:
Aqualine started its lighting retrofit division in response to customer
requests to offer similar savings programs in electricity as the company
offered in water. This division offers programs that can save 30%-50%
of electric utility bills associated with the lighting system. It implements
uniquely engineered programs that show facilities 2-4 year paybacks
on cost of installation. Aqualines added value comes from our
ability to utilize leading edge technologies and incorporate them into
engineered solutions.
Industrial
Services
Aqualine offers water and energy services to the industrial market, specializing
in applications as follows:
